Ten years ago, we matched online... and the rest is our favorite love story.

What started with a simple conversation turned into a decade of adventures, road trips, amazing food, lots of laughs, countless memories, and a lifetime of choosing each other. We've learned that the secret to a happy marriage is love, patience, a good sense of humor, and probably asking, “Where should we eat?” more times than we can count.

As we celebrate 10 wonderful years together, we're excited to say “I still do” and begin the next chapter of our adventure. Thank you for traveling near and far to celebrate with us. Your love, laughter, and presence make this milestone even more meaningful.

Set along the sparkling blue waters of Mactan, JPark Island Resort & Waterpark brings every part of our celebration together in one beautiful tropical destination. Surrounded by lush gardens, swaying palms, sparkling pools, and sweeping ocean views, the resort offers a breathtaking setting for this special milestone.

We'll begin with an intimate beachfront vow renewal by the sea, then continue indoors at the Marcela Grand Pavilion for dinner, dancing, and a joyful evening with the people we cherish most. We can't wait to experience it all with you.

Getting to Cebu

Fly into Mactan–Cebu International Airport (CEB), the main gateway to Cebu and one of the busiest international airports in the Philippines. We recommend booking your flights early for the best availability and fares.

For our international guests, please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Visa requirements vary by nationality, so please check the entry requirements before your trip.

For out-of-town guests

To make the most of your visit and avoid any travel stress, we recommend arriving one to two days before the celebration. This will give you time to relax, adjust to the time difference, and enjoy the beauty of Cebu.

Transportation

Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) is located just 20–30 minutes from JPark Island Resort & Waterpark. Taxis, Grab (ride-hailing), and private airport transfers are readily available upon arrival.

What to pack

Pack light, breathable clothing for Cebu's tropical climate, along with comfortable sandals, swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Don't forget your wedding attire—please refer to the Dress Code section for more information and helpful guidance so you'll feel comfortable throughout the entire celebration, from the late-afternoon beach ceremony to the indoor reception.

Search for Mactan–Cebu International Airport (CEB). Routes and schedules vary by departure city and travel date, so compare the total journey time, layovers, baggage allowance, and whether your bags are checked through to Cebu before booking.

From Canada

Air Canada, Philippine Airlines, United Airlines, EVA Air, China Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, Singapore Airlines, ANA, and Japan Airlines offer useful connecting itineraries from major Canadian gateways. Common connections include Manila (MNL), Taipei, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, and Tokyo.

From Japan

Check Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and United Airlines for nonstop or seasonal service from major Japanese airports. ANA and Japan Airlines may also offer connecting or partner itineraries through Manila (MNL) or Tokyo.

From New Orleans

There are no nonstop flights from New Orleans (MSY) to Cebu. Compare United Airlines, Delta with Korean Air, American Airlines with Japan Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Singapore Airlines, EVA Air, and Cathay Pacific. Most journeys connect through a U.S. gateway and an Asian hub before arriving in Cebu.

Whenever possible, book the entire journey on one ticket for easier baggage transfers and assistance during schedule changes. Confirm current routes directly with the airline before purchasing.

Beachside, polished & comfortable

Elegant Beach Attire

We're going for Beach Elegant—dressy, comfortable, and perfect for a tropical celebration. Our ceremony will be held outdoors by the beach in the late afternoon, followed by an indoor reception. We recommend light, breathable fabrics and beach-friendly footwear for the ceremony, along with a light wrap or jacket for the air-conditioned reception.

Ladies: Flowy midi or maxi dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or chic separates in light, breathable fabrics. Dressy sandals, wedges, block heels, flats—or even barefoot on the sand during the ceremony—are all great choices. A light shawl or wrap may be useful indoors.

Gentlemen: Linen or lightweight dress shirts with khaki pants, chinos, or dress slacks. A blazer is welcome but not required and can be added for the indoor reception. Loafers, dress shoes, or polished sandals are all fitting, and going barefoot on the sand during the ceremony is perfectly welcome.

Inspired by Cebu’s tropical sunsets, our warm and romantic palette combines glowing golds, sun-kissed terracotta, rich earthy tones, and touches of coastal greenery. If you're able, we'd love for your attire to reflect these colors and help create a beautiful backdrop for our special day. It's completely optional, but we'd be so grateful if you'd join in.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation includes the number of guests reserved in your honor. We kindly ask that attendance be limited to the guest count indicated on your invitation, as we've carefully planned our celebration with our venue capacity in mind. Thank you for your understanding—we can't wait to celebrate with you!

What if my plans change after I RSVP?

If you’ve RSVP’d “Yes” and later find that you’re unable to attend, kindly let us know as soon as possible. As this is an intimate destination celebration, your timely update will help us finalize our arrangements with the venue.

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence is our greatest gift. We know that traveling to celebrate with us requires time, effort, and expense, and we are deeply grateful you've chosen to be part of this milestone. Your presence is more than enough—please, no gifts. We simply look forward to creating unforgettable memories together.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Is parking available?

Yes! Complimentary parking is available at the reception venue for all wedding guests. Just let the security staff know you're attending our celebration, and they'll direct you to the designated parking area.

Is the tap water safe to drink?

Tap water in Cebu is generally safe for everyday use, such as brushing your teeth and showering. However, we recommend drinking bottled or filtered water, which is widely available at hotels, restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets.

Are there nearby pharmacies or hospitals?

Yes! Cebu has excellent healthcare facilities. Pharmacies are conveniently located throughout the city and in most shopping centers, and several modern hospitals are just a short drive from the resort. Should you need assistance during your stay, the resort staff will be happy to help you locate the nearest medical facility.

Do I need travel insurance?

While travel insurance is not required, it is highly recommended for international travel. It can provide peace of mind by covering unexpected situations such as trip delays or cancellations, lost luggage, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen travel disruptions.

Do I need to bring cash?

The local currency is the Philippine Peso (PHP/₱). Credit cards are widely accepted at hotels, resorts, restaurants, and shopping malls, but we recommend carrying a small amount of cash for taxis, local shops, tips, and smaller vendors. Money changers are readily available throughout Cebu, including at the airport, shopping malls, and commercial areas, making it easy to exchange foreign currency after you arrive. ATMs are also widely available and accept most international debit and credit cards, though your bank may charge foreign transaction or ATM fees.
